Season 34 Begins September 12: Dragons Awaken
New Guild Might Levels & the Removal of Resilience Penetration

Ancient dragons have awoken above the aerial isles — two new Guild Might targets, a fresh avatar reward, and a shake-up to large-scale PvP.
PVPBank Editorial Team · 2026-09-04

Albion Online's Season 34 officially begins on September 12, 2026 and runs through November 9. Riding on the live Dragonfire update, the new season pushes guild warfare into an era of dragons and ancient threats: guilds can now pursue two brand-new Might levels, Ancient Lands and Dragons, while the controversial Resilience Penetration mechanic is removed for the season to let large-scale PvP develop without it. Whether you're a territory-war veteran or a solo player planning to make a run at the season leaderboards, this preview will help you time your push right.

1. Season Start Times by Region

Season 34 does not begin at the same moment worldwide — each region starts on its own schedule:

Region Season Start
Albion Asia September 12, 00:00 UTC (September 12, 08:00 Beijing Time)
Albion Americas / Europe September 12, 11:00 UTC

The season runs from start day all the way to November 9 — roughly two months — with three Invasion Days serving as the key scoring moments along the way (full date list at the bottom of this article).

2. Season Theme: Ancient Lands & Dragons

The Dragonfire update brought aerial islands, ancient beasts, and genuine dragon threats to Albion. Season 34 adds two new Guild Might levels: Ancient Lands and Dragons. Both connect directly to the new aerial islands, ancient beasts, and dragon threats introduced with the update — guilds chasing the top of the leaderboard can no longer focus on classic territories alone; they also need to strike out toward the dragon lairs above the clouds.

Guild Seasons last about two months and ask guilds to compete for territories, earn Season Points, climb the rankings, and claim seasonal rewards. Worth noting: PvP is not the only way to contribute. Gathering, crafting, and trade all feed Season Points to your guild, so economy-minded players can help unlock rewards too. New players can find an organization via the in-game Guild Finder.

3. Mechanic Change: Resilience Penetration Removed

The most talked-about change this season is the removal of Resilience Penetration. Since combat in Albion has evolved significantly since the mechanic was introduced, the devs are removing it for Season 34 to see how large-scale PvP plays out in its absence. The change will be monitored throughout the season and adjusted if necessary — the full Dragonfire changelog lists every affected weapon and spell, so players running meta builds should double-check their setups before the season opens.

4. Season Rewards: Flameward Avatar & More

The headline reward this season is the brand-new Flameward Avatar, available in Silver and Crystal variants — built for showing off your dragon-slaying prowess. By earning Season Points through the Conqueror's Challenge, you can also secure loot chests, a 60-day Fame boost, and Legacy Avatars from previous seasons.

🎯 Get an Early Start: The Conqueror's Challenge Is Already Open

Progress toward the Conqueror's Challenge is already available — guild members can start earning Might right now and hit the ground running when the season officially starts on September 12. One catch: Premium is required to take part, so make sure your membership is active before you begin.

5. Season 34 Bundles: 90 Days of Premium to Cover the Whole Season

Two Season 34 bundles are now available (until September 21, 10:00 UTC) in the Albion Online Web Shop and the in-game store. Both include enough Premium to cover the full season and the two surrounding off-seasons, plus Gold, Learning Points, and the brand-new Dragon Hunter Vanity Bundle — heavy plate armor with a fiery Giant Stag mount that blazes as it thunders across Albion:

Bundle Price Contents
Season Bundle $69.95 90 days Premium + 2,000 Gold + 1,000 Learning Points + Dragon Hunter Vanity Bundle
Conqueror's Bundle $119.95 90 days Premium + 9,000 Gold + 3,500 Learning Points + Dragon Hunter Vanity Bundle

* Prices may vary by platform and region. Players who start with the Season Bundle can upgrade to the Conqueror's Bundle before the offer ends by paying the difference. The cosmetics are appearance-only and grant no stat advantages.

6. Why Season Openings Demand More Silver Than Ever

Rather than spending the first two weeks of the season grinding silver, save your energy for the fights and market opportunities that actually matter — which is exactly where PVPBank comes in.
